The Toronto MC’s “Summer Sixteen” debuted at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and Drizzy joined The Notorious B.I.G. and Rihanna as the only artists in the history of the chart to have more than one song enter at No. 1 in its first week. Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” replaced “Work,” his collaboration with Rihanna, at the top.
In the mid ’90s, The Notorious B.I.G. had two tracks hit No. 1. On June 24, 1995, “One More Chance” took the crown and on May 3, 1997, “Hypnotize,” the landmark single from his posthumous Life After Death album, did the same.
