Nkem Owoh aka Osuofia

Nkem Owoh aka Osuofia and nine others have been unveiled as the 2016/2017 brand ambassadors for MTN Nigeria.

The telecommunications company made the announcement today, September 1, 2016.
The general manager of consumer marketing, Mr Richard Iweanoge made the disclosure in a statement in Lagos state.
He listed the other nine ambassadors as follows:
Saka, (Hafiz Oyetoro); Nedu (Steve Onu); Adamu Zango Praiz (Praise Adejo); Iyanya (Iyanya Mbuk); Chidinma (Chidinma Ekile); Falz (Folarin Falana); Tekno Miles(Augustine Kelechi) and Skales(Raoul Njeng-Njeng).
Mr Iweanoge disclosed that the unveiling was in line with the company commitment to supporting Nigerian musician, providing alternative platforms from which the artistes receive lucrative value for their intellectual property.
This arrangement was also designed to continually support the development of the entertainment industry, he added.
He said:
"With the significant investment made so far in Nigeria’s music industry, MTN remains and will continue to be one of the biggest supporters of the music industry.
"We have a track record of consistently providing the stage for some of Nigeria’s biggest artistes to shine and express themselves. Through our Caller Ring Back Tunes (CRBT), MTN is the largest music distributor in Africa.
"Through the platform, we ensured that Nigerian musicians would no longer suffer the scourge of piracy.
"They are able to make good money, as a result of their hard work." he concluded.
MTN Executive, Ms Amina Oyagbola, revealed in the statement that the company was proud to be associated with the growth and development of its ambassadors, whether past or present.
Ms Oyagbola also commended them for their contributions to the company's development. adding that MTN would continue to maintain the cordial relationship between them.
