If you thought LeBron James was a rich man before then I wonder how you think now.
The
Cleveland Cavaliers superstar has just signed an endorsement contract
with Nike that will take him until the end of his life.
Nike also confirmed the news in a statement.
"We
can confirm that we have agreed to a lifetime relationship with LeBron
that provides significant value to our business, brand and
shareholders," Nike said in a statement. "We have already built a strong
LeBron business over the past 12 years, and we see the potential for
this to continue to grow throughout his playing career and beyond."
James signed a 7-year, $90 million contract with them back in 2003.As you can imagine this well surpasses the 10-year, $300 million signed by Kevin Durant. You can also imagine that they will also get free sneakers as well.
Crazy!
