For the second week in a row, the Grammys have lost a little bit of hype to their program.
Music's
biggest night took another hit tonight, after Nicki Minaj announced to
the world that she would not be performing at this years show, despite
an announcement that she was.
She made the announcement on Instagram, where she also promised a bigger show in the future.
I know I'm in the commercial but I actually won't be performing. I want
to thank the Grammys for being super sweet & supportive & for
recognizing The Pinkprint. Maybe next year will make more sense in terms
of timing and I'll create a very special performance for you guys. In
the mean time, enjoy the show! 💋💋💋
This announcement follows her Young Money brother Drake who confirmed last week that we would not be part of the show as well.
Grammys will air on February 15 at 8pm with performances from Rihanna, The Weeknd, and more.
