Having successfully ignored, rejected, rubbished, and laughed at every rumor linking Eden Hazard with a move to Paris Saint-Germain over the last few years, we now get to repeat that process for every rumor linking the Chelsea wizard to Real Madrid.
"Obviously [...] Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo
are very spectacular, but I like Eden Hazard. Everything he does on the
field like it. I like his behavior, his decisive side and the fact
[that he makes] progress every year. [He] still has a good margin of
progression, and [he's the biggest reason] Chelsea are leading the
championship."
The legendary midfielder was
apparently speaking to the French media after Monday's Match Against
Poverty, though I'm sure he didn't just go and blurt this out of the
blue.
Zidane is of course Hazard's childhood idol and the current coach of Real Madrid's
B-team (Castilla). He already carries quite a bit of influence within
Real Madrid and should he rise even higher in the organization, it's not
unthinkable that he'd make a play for Hazard. Luckily for us, Eden
seems perfectly happy at Chelsea. I don't think there's a reason to
worry at all, but your mileage may vary depending on your own personal
levels of paranoia.
