As it turns out, returning to the Fast & Furious franchise was a good career move for actor Vin Diesel.The 48-year-old action star came in third on the Forbes list of the world's highest-paid actors of 2015, having earned a cool $47 million for his performance in Furious 7.The pricy paycheck seems to have been a good investment for Universal. Furious 7 is currently the fifth highest-grossing movie of all time, with a worldwide take of $1.51 billion.
Just above Diesel is martial arts superstar Jackie Chan, who earned $50 million, and in the top spot is Robert Downey Jr., who earned a staggering $80 million for his work on the film The Judge. Just kidding, obviously it was for suiting up as Iron Man yet again in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
For the first time this year, Forbes took into account leading men across the globe -- instead of just focusing on Hollywood -- for a truly comprehensive look at the actors who are earning the biggest paychecks. Because of this, several Bollywood stars made their way onto the list for the first time.
